What Will I Learn in the Course “GDPR – ISO 27001 Including the General Data Protection Regulation”?
You will learn to work practically with GDPR and the General Data Protection Regulation in a company setting – including roles and responsibilities, legal bases for processing, documentation, data processing agreements, and the proper handling of personal data breaches. You will also gain insight into privacy by design and by default, and how data protection is embedded into business processes.
At the same time, you will learn the core principles of ISO 27001 and how to build and operate an Information Security Management System (ISMS). This includes risk assessment, information classification, access control, policies and procedures, and continuous improvement.
Finally, you will work with the integration of GDPR and ISO 27001, enabling you to conduct gap analyses, prepare for internal audits, and produce the documentation companies expect. You will develop concrete cases and deliverables that can be used directly in your placement and job search.
Who Is the Course Designed For?
The course is aimed at unemployed individuals with a medium- or long-cycle higher education who want to strengthen their employment opportunities by gaining practical experience with GDPR and ISO 27001, including the General Data Protection Regulation.
No technical background or prior experience with IT security is required. You will be introduced to the key concepts, methods, and tools from the ground up and work with them in practice through cases and exercises.
